Archive

This project explores the concept of an archive and its transformation into an architectural envelope. As part of the design process, we were instructed to define an archive using three words that resonated with us. My chosen words were collection, memories, and growth.

While analyzing these words, I found that they also describe a garden—a space that preserves, nurtures, and evolves over time. This realization led to the core design concept: treating the archive as a living space.

The architectural envelope reflects this idea by integrating natural elements, light, and movement, creating a dynamic experience. Like a garden, it curates, transforms, and invites interaction, allowing the archive to exist as an evolving environment rather than a fixed container of information.

Through this project, the archive becomes more than a place of storage, it becomes a space of growth and memory.
